Have you ever been invited to a party where you only know the host and not the invitees.
Nobody seems to pay any attention to you as they don’t know you. They are all enjoying their group chatter and you rather feel like a lost puppy ?
After a while, you would like to slip through the door in order to escape but you have you decided to play tough this time. Now, you would have to make a conversation or join a group.
You have come all the way, now the host greets you at the entrance and and says come in and grab a drink and some finger food, I will join you soon.
Well to do so, firstly it would require a proper introduction right! I guess in any scenario you would.
